Our story

We are an award winning local, awarded for our real ales and whilst we are at it we serve some great freshly cooked cuisine along side the eight real ales, 16 draught and craft ales and quality wines

The Helter Skelter, as been known as many things over the years. "The Drovers", "The Gaping Gander" and "Rowlands Bar" to name three.

The current name was chosen back in the early 2000's, by a pub goer at the time, in memory of the Helter Skelter that was in operation on Overton Hill from 1908 to 1977.

Run by Nicholas Broome and his wife Karen the pub is a definitely on the map and a must visit!
